ABOUT THE PROJECT

The San Diego Sockers is an indoor soccer team in the Major Arena Soccer League. ICON is designing a 7,000-seat indoor soccer arena in Oceanside, California to be home to the Sockers. The facility will also be able to convert into an ice arena for potential future events and will be able to host a variety of non-sporting events including concerts, banquets, and trade shows. The arena is part of the new El Corazon Development and draws design inspiration from the Irving Gill style, complementing many of the important civic buildings in the surrounding area.
